Job Summary

As a Retail Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers and teammates alike. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers and proactively approaching them to understand their needs and support their shopping experience
  • Serving as the primary customer service provider at the front end and liaison between customers and management
  • Providing register coverage as needed and ensuring strong customer service standards are met by supporting cashiers through complex transactions
  • Upholding company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers and teammates

  • Greet customers and proactively approach them to understand their needs and support their shopping experience
  • Serve as the primary customer service provider at the front end and liaison between customers and management
  • Provide register coverage as needed and ensure strong customer service standards are met by supporting cashiers through complex transactions
  • Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
  • Collaborate with teammates to achieve sales goals and provide a seamless shopping experience
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure a visually appealing store environment
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of products, services, and promotions to provide informed recommendations to customers
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a retail customer service role

  • Knowledge of sports and fitness products and services
  • Experience with visual merchandising and inventory management
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
