Account Executive / Territory Leader - AI EdTech (Dallas)

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Account Executive (Future Pod Leader) | AI EdTech Disruptor Location: Addison, TX (4 Days In-Office) Compensation: $104k Base (Midpoint) | $200k OTE (Uncapped) Commission: 10% Flat on all deals + Multi-year accelerators The Mission: Solving the Global Math Crisis Our client is one of the world’s fastest-growing and most celebrated EdTech companies, transforming STEM education through the power of AI. Their proprietary platform empowers teachers to focus on creativity and deeper learning while providing real-time visibility into student progress. With 1 in 5 students globally struggling in math—a subject that forms the backbone of modern career paths—the opportunity to improve outcomes at scale is massive. This company is already the go-to solution in thousands of schools across the U.S. and Europe, and they are now building an elite Dallas hub to lead their next phase of expansion. The Opportunity: Founding Member & Future Leader EQL is searching for a high-energy, ambitious Account Executive to own the Dallas/Texas territory. This isn't a "plug-and-play" sales job with a pre-written playbook. It’s a role for someone hungry to build something from the ground up and move into a leadership position. The Dallas Hub Strategy:

  • Path to Leadership: The company prefers to develop talent from within. This role is specifically designed for a senior individual contributor with the potential to move into a Pod Leadership role as the Dallas office scales.
  • The Addison Hub: This is an in-office culture based in Addison 4 days a week. High commitment levels are expected because the mission - and the financial upside - is significant.
  • Ownership: You will own the full sales cycle (90–120+ days) targeting district leaders, supported by a high-energy BDR team.
  • High Upside: With a $400k target and a flat 10% commission on every deal, this is a role for a top-tier closer who wants uncapped earning potential.

Who You Are

  • 5–6 Years in Software Sales: You have rock-solid fundamentals and a proven track record in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment.
  • The "Owner" Mindset: You act proactively and pursue solutions with urgency. You don't wait for a playbook; you see a blank page as an opportunity to build.
  • Smart & Inquisitive: You ask deep questions to understand district challenges around student achievement and funding rather than just "pitching" a platform.
  • Mission-Aligned: You care deeply about public education and believe that math is a gateway to opportunity.
  • Grit & Accountability: You thrive in an environment of full accountability where you are expected to own your number and think like a company founder.

The Benefits & Perks Our client believes great people do their best work when they feel supported, trusted, and set up for success.

  • Financial Future: A 401(k) retirement plan with a company match is provided to help you save for the future.
  • Comprehensive Health: Medical, dental, and vision insurance is provided for you and your family.
  • Medical Choice: Two medical plan options are available so you can choose the fit that works for your lifestyle.
  • Global Connection: The company hosts an annual trip for the entire team to connect and celebrate wins; previous locations include Sweden and Spain .
  • Time to Recharge: You will receive 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) plus 10 paid holidays .
  • Day-One Success: All necessary technology, including a company laptop, is provided from day one.
