Key Responsibilities of the Banking Operations Specialist Include:
- Support online banking platforms for consumer and business accounts
- Process wire transfers (Domestic & International) and ACH transactions
- Provide customer support via phone, email, and internal messaging systems
- Assist with debit card services, troubleshooting, and account maintenance
- Perform data entry, account reviews, and documentation verification
- Review new account openings (Deposit, IRA, HSA, Loans, Safe Deposit Boxes) for accuracy and compliance
- Maintain and update customer information within core banking systems
- Review escrow accounts (PMI, taxes, insurance) and monitor past-due items
- Support fraud prevention efforts through transaction and documentation review
- Communicate with branch teams to resolve discrepancies and missing information
- Assist with bank conversions, system updates, mergers & acquisitions
- Ensure regulatory compliance and complete required reporting
