Key Responsibilities:
As a Behavioral Health Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will:
- Engage with members to understand their health needs, concerns, and goals
- Review member claim history for accuracy and completeness
- Explain member rights and responsibilities, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their benefits and claims
- Build trusting relationships with members, providing empathetic and supportive care
- Perform financial data maintenance, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve member issues and concerns
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center atmosphere
- Previous behavioral health experience is a plus, but not required
- Medical or insurance background is also a plus, but not required
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in computer software and technology, including CRM systems
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience working in a behavioral health setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance concepts
- Certification in customer service or a related field
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
