Responsibilities:
As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, up-to-dateness, and accessibility of our data. Your responsibilities will include:
- Accurately entering and updating data into various systems and databases
- Verifying data by comparing it to source documents
- Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Compiling, sorting, and organizing data to be entered into the database or electronic systems
- Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities where possible
- Maintaining confidentiality and security of all data collected
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure data integrity and accuracy
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration or a related field are a plus
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office environment
