Key Responsibilities

As an ITM Customer Service Specialist III, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering Exceptional Customer Service: You'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing timely and accurate responses to their inquiries and resolving their problems efficiently.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records: You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, including telephone calls, emails, and online chats.
  • Processing Transactions: You'll process telephone transfers, loan payments, and stop payments requests, as well as reset electronic banking PINS and assist with Internet Banking and Bill Pay.
  • Staying Up-to-Date with Regulations: You'll maintain knowledge of regulations governing transactions in relation to banking services, including demand deposits and savings accounts.
  • Cross-Selling and Sales: You'll identify sales referral opportunities and make appropriate referrals, participating in sales campaigns as identified.
  • Maintaining Department Records: You'll maintain accurate department records, including customer information and transaction data.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of two years of customer service experience or related experience is required.
  • Financial Call Center Experience: Financial call center experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to Work Independently: You'll be working from home, so you'll need to be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to Perform Repetitive Tasks: You'll be performing repetitive tasks, so you'll need to be able to focus and maintain attention to detail.
  • Good Working Knowledge of Microsoft 360: You'll need to have a good working knowledge of Microsoft 360, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Attention to Detail: You'll need to be detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
  • Relationship Builder: You'll need to be able to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Flexible and Dependable: You'll need to be flexible and dependable, with the ability to work outside normal banking hours.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Financial Industry Experience: Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as CFP or CFA are preferred.
