Responsibilities
As an Experienced Personal Lines Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Assisting Clients with Claim Submissions and Status Updates: You'll work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide timely updates on their claims, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout the process.
- Responding to Client Inquiries: You'll respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing accurate and helpful information to resolve their concerns and address their questions.
- Processing and Managing Personal Lines Insurance Policies: You'll work with underwriters and agents to ensure smooth processing of policies, maintaining a thorough understanding of personal lines insurance products and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining Client Information and Communication: You'll enter and update client information in our database and CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. You'll also maintain regular communication with clients regarding policy changes and billing.
- Preparing and Reviewing Insurance Documents: You'll prepare, review, and file insurance documents for accuracy and compliance, ensuring that all necessary information is complete and up-to-date.
- Addressing Client Concerns and Finding Solutions: You'll work with relevant departments to find solutions to client concerns, providing exceptional support and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Providing Billing Information and Payment Support: You'll provide clients with billing information and assist with payment-related inquiries, ensuring seamless payment processing and minimizing delays.
- Ensuring Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: You'll ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and agency policies, maintaining a thorough understanding of industry regulations and best practices.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is a plus.
- 2+ Years of Relevant Work Experience: You'll need at least 2 years of relevant work experience in personal lines insurance, with prior knowledge of policy management, quoting, or claims handling.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: You'll need excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) to effectively interact with clients, underwriters, and agents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: You'll need to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and products, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
- Demonstrated Success in Delivering High-Quality Customer Support: You'll need to have demonstrated success in delivering high-quality customer support, with a proven track record of resolving client concerns and exceeding expectations.
- Ability to Multitask in a Fast-Paced Environment: You'll need to be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
- Authorized to Work in the U.S.: You'll need to be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
