Job Summary

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring that all transactions are processed efficiently. You'll work closely with our finance team to resolve discrepancies, generate invoices, and follow up with clients to ensure timely payments. Key Responsibilities

* Process and record incoming payments accurately in the system, ensuring all transactions are up-to-date and correct.

  • Maintain and update customer accounts, ensuring all information is current and correct.
  • Generate and send out invoices to clients in a timely manner, ensuring all necessary details are included.
  • Monitor accounts for overdue payments and follow up with clients as necessary to ensure timely payments.
  • Organize and file financial documents systematically for easy retrieval, maintaining a secure and efficient filing system.
  • Transcribe data from various sources into databases while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies related to accounts receivable, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the finance team, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Requirements

* Proven experience in an accounts receivable or similar role is preferred, but not required.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping, ensuring all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues, ensuring clear and concise communication.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

  • Proficiency in data management systems, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping, ensuring all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero.

  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance, including GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to motivate and support team members.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting, with the ability to provide insights and recommendations to management.
