Key Responsibilities

As a Bookkeeper/Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for our clients
• Processing transactions, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements, reports, and other documents
• Providing support to the Accounting team, including answering client inquiries and resolving issues
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to strict data protection policies
• Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations, laws, and industry best practices

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, data entry, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and financial statement preparation
• Proficiency in QuickBooks desktop (or willingness to learn)
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, we're looking for candidates with:

• 4+ years of experience in bookkeeping, data entry, or a related field
• Advanced knowledge of accounting software, including QuickBooks online
• Experience working with multiple industries and accounting platforms
• Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g., CPA, CMA, or CB)
