Job Summary

As a Treasury Customer Service Representative 6-E8, you will play a critical role in researching requests, determining rightful ownership of property, and providing excellent customer service in a call center environment. You will be responsible for reviewing a wide variety of legal documents, including probate court documents, wills, trusts, death certificates, and court orders, as well as informational paperwork submitted by claimants. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

* Research requests, whether in writing or over the phone, to determine the rightful ownership of property consisting of cash, securities, and/or safe deposit box contents

  • Review and analyze a wide variety of legal documents, including probate court documents, wills, trusts, death certificates, and court orders
  • Provide excellent customer service in a call center environment, responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain and ensure confidentiality of data, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and ensure accurate and timely resolution of customer inquiries
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to unclaimed property, ensuring compliance with all applicable requirements

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • One year of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems (Treasury Customer Service Representative 6)
  • Two years of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems, including one year equivalent to a Treasury Customer Service Representative 6 (Treasury Customer Service Representative 7)
  • Three years of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems, including two years equivalent to a Treasury Customer Service Representative 6 or one year equivalent to a Treasury Customer Service Representative 7 (Treasury Customer Service Representative E8)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a call center environment, with a strong focus on customer service and problem-solving

  • Knowledge of unclaimed property laws, regulations, and policies
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret complex documents and data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Salary range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year

Remote Work

This is initially a hybrid position, with approximately 4-6 months of training on-site at our Dimondale, Michigan office, with the potential to be remote after the training (except for a one day per month requirement to be on-site). Selected candidates must have a safe and appropriate designated workspace or workstation for performance of work and secure and sufficient internet access of commercial cable or wireless broadband with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
