The Chatbot Product Team
As part of our CSP vision, our Chatbot Product team is focused on providing a seamless user experience by combining AI capabilities with the expertise of our support ambassadors. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help shape the technical vision and deliver flexible, efficient, and scalable solutions.
The Difference You Will Make
As a Senior Software Engineer on our Chatbot Product team, you'll play a significant role in shaping the technical vision and delivering innovative user experiences for AI-driven customer service products. You'll work with a talented and diverse team of software engineers to create novel products and features that combine backend workflows with frontend user experiences across different platforms.
A Typical Day
As a Senior Software Engineer on our Chatbot Product team, you can expect to:
* Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering counterparts to execute on product and business strategy
* Drive, lead, and contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch
* Nurture a culture of technical quality from design, through code review, to production operations
* Collaborate with your team to review code and design docs, provide feedback on product specs and mocks, and drive technical discussions
Your Expertise
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* 5-9+ years of industry experience with a BS/Masters or 2+ years with a PhD and experience in a fast-paced tech environment
* Strong expertise with backend systems in service-oriented architectures
* Experience with frontend or full-stack development
* Experience with chatbot/AI product would be a plus
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and with teams across the engineering, product & design organizations
* Passionate about efficiency, availability, technical quality, and system quality
* Love for collaborating via code reviews and architecture discussions, and motivated to improve your teammates' productivity
