Job Summary: Rodgers & Rodgers Consulting, LLC is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis! This role involves conducting one-time evaluations for veterans and other military personnel to support Compensation and Pension (C&P) assessments. This position does not involve prescribing or treatment; rather, it focuses on gathering medical history, performing examinations, and completing computer-based reports. - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations tailored to each case.
- Review patient medical history and analyze case evidence files to extract relevant information.
- Complete detailed reports associated with Veterans’ Compensation and Pension Exams.
- Collaborate effectively with management, support team members, and partner organizations.
- Utilize computer-based tools for examinations, reporting, and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Certification as a Physician Assistant.
- Preferred: Previous experience conducting Compensation and Pension (C&P) exams.
- Previous experience in primary care is also preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in general medical practice.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical proficiency with computers and related software.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
