Music Producer – Hip-Hop Album (Remote)
An independent songwriter and artist is seeking a skilled music producer to collaborate on a new album project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in music production, with the versatility to work across multiple genres and a strong emphasis on hip-hop. This is a fully remote opportunity, and the producer will be responsible for managing the entire production process from concept to final mix. The role requires a professional who is comfortable with work-for-hire or ghost production arrangements. There is potential for ongoing collaboration based on the success of this project.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full music production process for an album, including arrangement, recording, mixing, and mastering
- Collaborate closely with the artist to develop and refine the creative vision for each track
- Produce high-quality tracks across multiple genres, with a primary focus on hip-hop
- Provide creative input on song structure, instrumentation, and overall sound
- Ensure timely delivery of all project milestones and final deliverables
- Maintain clear and consistent communication throughout the project
- Deliver all files in industry-standard formats suitable for distribution
Skills And Requirements
- Extensive experience as a music producer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating work in hip-hop and other genres
- Proficiency with industry-standard DAWs and production software (e.g., Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro)
- Ability to handle all aspects of music production, including beat-making, arrangement, recording, mixing, and mastering
- Experience with work-for-hire or ghost production projects
