About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled performance ad copywriter to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is integral to our performance marketing machine, responsible for creating compelling, high-converting ads across Facebook and Instagram platforms. You will work closely with our Head of Media and creative strategy team to translate strategic angles, hooks, and insights into finished ad scripts that drive engagement and conversions. Your primary focus will be on producing rapid, volume-driven ad content—ranging from video scripts and static ads to UGC-style content—designed to stop the scroll, build desire, handle objections, and prompt clicks. This is not a content or brand voice role; it is a direct-response copywriting position focused on measurable results, with a fast-paced cadence of testing and iteration. You will be expected to deliver multiple ad scripts daily, adapting quickly based on performance data, and collaborating seamlessly within a small, high-performance team that values speed and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience writing performance ads for Facebook and Instagram, with a proven track record of successful campaigns.
• Portfolio demonstrating ads that have been run in paid accounts, including metrics such as CTR, CPA, ROAS, or revenue.
• Deep understanding of hooks, mechanisms, objections, proof elements, and buyer psychology.
• Experience in categories with significant buyer resistance, such as info-products, coaching, online education, agency services, or e-commerce.
• Ability to produce multiple complete ad scripts within a single working session, maintaining speed and quality.
• Fluency in English at a native or near-native level.
• Strong research skills, utilizing swipe files, competitor analysis, customer language, and internal data to inform copy.
• Proficiency in AI tools to expedite research, variations, and angle exploration, with final copy reflecting your commercial instinct.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to understand briefs and execute without requiring extensive explanation.

Responsibilities

• Write complete Facebook and Instagram ad scripts, including hooks, body, and calls-to-action, based on creative briefs.
• Create multiple angle variations per brief for testing purposes, ensuring a diverse and effective ad portfolio.
• Develop UGC-style scripts suitable for on-camera talent, formatted for easy delivery and execution.
• Craft static ad copy, including headlines, primary text, and CTAs across different formats.
• Rapidly iterate on underperforming ads, analyzing performance data to optimize copy for better results.
• Collaborate with the creative strategy team to ensure ad copy aligns with strategic angles and campaign goals.
• Review and refine your ad copy to ensure consistency with landing pages, VSLs, and funnels to maximize conversion.
• Maintain a high volume of ad production, shipping multiple scripts daily to support ongoing testing and scaling efforts.
