Executive Director – Advanced Analytics, Data Science

Job Description:

Define and lead a compelling vision for advanced analytics, data science, and AI
Build, inspire, and scale a high-performing analytics organization
Champion a culture of innovation, accountability, and data-driven decision-making
Design and deploy sophisticated analytics frameworks including segmentation, predictive modeling, promotional response, risk assessment, and patient journey analytics
Serve as a strategic advisor to commercial leadership
Partner closely with leaders across marketing, market access/HEOR, clinical, regulatory, finance, and sales
Lead the adoption and scaling of machine learning, AI, and GenAI analytical solutions
Build strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and key opinion leaders
Recruit, mentor, and retain top analytics and data science talent

Requirements:

15+ years of experience in commercial analytics
5+ years leading data science and AI/ML initiatives within healthcare or life sciences
7+ years of leadership experience building, scaling, and leading high-performing analytics teams in biotech or pharmaceutical environments
Deep, hands-on expertise in data science, machine learning, statistical modeling
Demonstrated experience implementing and scaling generative and agentic AI analytical solutions in real-world business settings
Strong business acumen with a track record of translating advanced analytics into strategic and operational impact
Exceptional leadership capabilities, with a passion for coaching, developing, and inspiring talent (direct and indirect)
Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to drive change, align stakeholders, and articulate a compelling analytics and data science vision.
