Hospitality & Tourism Operations Management: Remote Instructor
Overview
Canadian All Care College is seeking a qualified and experienced instructor to provide part-time academic support for students enrolled in our self-paced, asynchronous Hospitality & Tourism Operations Management. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and communication skills, supporting learners who study independently by providing timely feedback, grading, and academic assistance.
Responsibilities
- Grade student assignments, projects, and exams submitted through Canvas LMS.
- Respond to student inquiries and provide academic guidance during scheduled office hours.
- Evaluate student participation and timely submission for participation and engagement grades.
- Collaborate with the Academic Department to complete student progress reports.
- Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and communication.
- Support the continuous improvement of course delivery by reporting common student challenges.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching or instructional experience in Canada.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (preferably Canvas) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong technical aptitude and comfort working in an online academic environment.
- Excellent written communication and time management skills.
- Ability to provide clear, supportive, and professional feedback to students.
Job Type: Contract Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour Experience
