Role: Inside Sales & Government Proposals Specialist Reporting to: Global Sales Manager Preferred Location: El Paso, Texas, (USA) Alternative: 100% Remote (USA) Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen Clearance: Nice to have but not necessary At DefendEye, we proudly manufacture state-of-the-art, USA-made drones designed specifically for First Responders and ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) missions. We build technology that protects those who protect us. We are expanding our team and looking for a driven, mission-oriented Inside Sales & Government Proposals Specialist to help get our platforms into the hands of the agencies that need them most. If you know how to close a deal, but also know your way around government portals, we want to talk to you. What you will be doing: ● Scouting & Sourcing: Actively monitor and identify relevant RFIs, RFPs, and tenders across government portals (SAM.gov, DoD pipelines, state/local government boards). ● Proposal Management: Spearhead the proposal writing and submission process for government contracts, ensuring compliance and competitive positioning. ● Full-Cycle Inside Sales: Qualify leads, conduct remote demonstrations of our drone capabilities, build relationships with procurement officers, and close deals. ● Market Intelligence: Act as the eyes and ears of Defendeye in the procurement space, communicating agency requirements back to our engineering and leadership teams. Who we are looking for: ● The Mission Background: Experience in the Military, Law Enforcement, or First Responder communities is highly preferred. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply! ● The Procurement Pro: Proven experience navigating government contracts, specifically writing proposals for the DoD and successfully utilizing SAM.gov. ● The Closer: A strong background in inside sales with a track record of finding, negotiating, and winning contracts. ● The Tech Translator: A solid understanding of drone technology (UAS) and ISR capabilities, with the ability to clearly explain tactical advantages to decision-makers. ● The Non-Negotiable: You must be a U.S. Citizen.
