Coach (Field Trainer/Consultant)
Coach (Field Trainer/Consultant) Remote | Full-Time | Flexible Hours | Travel Required Reports to: Director of Implementation Classification: Exempt, Regular Employee Join Our Mission to Help Every Child Learn to Read At Success for All Foundation (SFA), we believe every child can achieve at the highest levels when schools are organized to support strong systems, empower confident teachers, and ensure every student receives effective, evidence-based instruction. As a Coach, you’ll play a critical role in helping schools implement SFA’s research-proven, whole-school improvement model. You’ll partner directly with school leaders and educators (both virtually and on-site) to drive powerful changes in instruction, build school wide systems for success, and help every student experience deep engagement, transformational learning, and lasting achievement. What You’ll Do As an SFA Coach, you’ll be on the front lines of educational change supporting the implementation of the SFA model. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Empowering educators: Support school leaders and teachers through hands-on coaching, data analysis, and instructional feedback—both in person and remotely.
- Driving results: Help schools develop customized achievement plans and set measurable goals to boost student learning outcomes.
- Delivering excellence: Lead engaging professional development sessions, maintain consistent communication, and stay current on curriculum updates.
- Telling the story: Document progress through thoughtful implementation reports and contribute to a shared learning culture at SFA.
- Expanding our reach: Support new school onboarding and engage in activities that promote broader awareness and adoption of our model.
What You Bring We’re looking for an enthusiastic, experienced educator who shares our belief in the power of systems, data, and great teaching to change lives. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least six years of experience in education or a related field
- Firsthand experience implementing the Success for All model
- Familiarity with Title I school environments (preferred)
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
- Confidence working with diverse communities and constituencies
- Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office, Zoom, Google Meet, email, and web-based tools
Location, Flexibility, and Travel This is a remote position with flexible scheduling, though it requires regular overnight travel (over 50%) to partner schools and events across the country. You’ll also manage a home office and represent SFA at conferences and regional/national meetings. Physical Requirements This role involves lifting up to 50 pounds of materials (occasionally up to 75 pounds), as well as extended periods of standing, walking, and travel by car or air in various weather conditions.
