This position will teach courses, including but not limited to digital marketing, web analytics, user experience, and senior project courses.

Assistant Lecturer/Assistant Teaching Professor in Emerging Technology in Business and Design is a full-time, on-campus faculty position focused on teaching and service. This position will teach courses, including but not limited to digital marketing, web analytics, user experience, and senior project courses; develop curricula; provide service to the University; advise students; lead client-based projects; and help lead co-curricular activities and student organizations. In addition, the candidate has the opportunity to be actively involved with the Center for Research in User Experience (CRUX), using a wide range of technologies, including eye tracking, galvanic skin response, and facial expression analysis, to better understand how users interact with screen-based stimuli and images. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about the effects of new technologies on marketing processes and able to prepare students to enter a rapidly changing technology-based industry. Minimum Qualifications: Terminal degree (e.g., M.F.A. or Ph.D.) in a related discipline required by the date of appointment for appointment as Assistant Teaching Professor. Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of tested experience in a related discipline needed by date of appointment for appointment as Assistant Lecturer. Consideration may be given to candidates with a record of quality teaching, industry experience, student advising, assistance in developing career-ready portfolios, and university service, or service to the profession.
