Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including answering phones, responding to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries
  • Handling and resolving client complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times
  • Clarifying orders as needed
  • Providing excellent customer service and support to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files
  • Collaborating with the Data Entry Manager to ensure seamless communication and workflow

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License
  • Previous experience in pharmacy, with LTC pharmacy experience preferred
  • Knowledge of brand name and generic medications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in frameworks and ECM knowledge
  • Great telephone etiquette and communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and healthcare software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
