About the Job

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our remote bookkeeping team. As a Senior GL Bookkeeper, you will work closely with our cross-functional team to drive financial reporting and process improvements, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and compliance with US GAAP, PCAOB principles, and SOX/internal controls. You will be responsible for planning and preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations, as well as providing financial data and insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for assigned areas of the general ledger

• Be a key player in the monthly close cycle for arenaflex and external entities for assigned functional areas
• Ensure financial records are maintained for management and GAAP combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
• Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
• Collaborate with FP&A, functional partners, and external stakeholders on significant accounting matters
• Conduct special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

• You have 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• You have a strong understanding of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, and SOX/internal controls
• You have experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and GSuite
