Key Responsibilities

As a Bilingual Customer Care Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Delivering outstanding service: Own the interaction with callers, building loyalty, improving retention, and satisfying corporate best-in-service goals and objectives.
  • Responding to high-volume incoming calls: Handle a high volume of calls from members and providers, taking calls in both Spanish and English.
  • Utilizing resource materials: Effectively and accurately interpret, respond, and resolve customer inquiries and problems using appropriate resource materials.
  • Maintaining knowledge of Plan contracts: Stay up-to-date on Plan contracts and effectively interpret information.
  • Employing strong interpersonal skills: Handle difficult calls courteously and professionally, using strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
  • Documenting calls: Accurately document calls in accordance with departmental policies.
  • Collaborating with peers: Work with colleagues to solve problems and promote teamwork.
  • Meeting or exceeding quality and productivity goals: Consistently meet or exceed departmental quality and productivity standards.
  • Performing other duties as assigned: Be flexible and adaptable, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

Our Ideal Candidates

We're seeking candidates who possess:

  • Bilingual skills in Spanish: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent: A bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.
  • Prior professional work experience: Ideally, you'll have experience in customer service, but we're open to training the right candidate.
  • Outstanding customer service skills: Demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships with customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong organizational skills: Prioritize a high volume of adjustment requests, multitask, and prioritize work.
  • Ability to make sound business decisions: Make reasonable and sound business decisions based on established standards and guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment: Thrive in a dynamic team environment, prioritizing work and managing multiple tasks.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is required.
  • Ability and comfort level working from home: Have access to a high-speed internet connection and be comfortable working from home.
  • Regular and reliable attendance: Demonstrate a commitment to regular and reliable attendance, with the ability to work overtime during peak periods.
