About A Tiger Cub A Tiger Cub is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening connection in immigrant communities. Through storytelling, community experiences, and youth-led initiatives, we aim to bridge generational and cultural gaps and create spaces where individuals feel seen, understood, and supported. Role Overview We are seeking founding Board Members to help guide the strategic direction and long-term growth of A Tiger Cub. This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in shaping an early-stage organization with a clear mission and growing community presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on organizational growth, programs, and partnerships
- Support fundraising efforts through introductions, donor outreach, and campaign development
- Offer insight based on professional expertise (nonprofit, education, community building, marketing, etc.)
- Serve as an advocate and ambassador for the organization
- Participate in quarterly board meetings and periodic working sessions
Ideal Candidates
- Passion for immigrant communities, education, or social impact work
- Experience in fundraising, nonprofit leadership, partnerships, or scaling initiatives
- Strong network or willingness to actively contribute to growth efforts
- Thoughtful, collaborative, and willing to engage beyond a symbolic role
