What You'll Do: Assist with the on-boarding process for Medical Providers and coordinate credentialing and privileging for Allied Health Providers (AHPs) Process provider credentialing applications in accordance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and Logan Health policies and procedures Perform primary source verification for medical school, residency, fellowship, NPDB, DSHS, FSMB, and other applicable sources Research, examine, enter data, and gather all necessary information to support the credentialing process Initiate and support the provider application process by sending, receiving, and analyzing practitioner documents; perform data imports to determine completeness Gather, verify, and evaluate highly confidential and sensitive healthcare practitioner credentials consistent with departmental guidelines and accreditation standards Monitor expiring licensure, board and professional certifications, and other documents pending expiration within prescribed timeframes Respond to practitioner, client health plan, and internal inquiries in a timely and professional manner Record minutes at assigned meetings, develop agendas, and maintain records Keep leadership informed of potential credentialing issues and perform administrative tasks as applicable What You'll Bring: Minimum of one (1) of the following required: Minimum of one (1) year experience in provider credentialing. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a medical setting. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience comprised of detailed data verification, document management, and handling of confidential records in accordance with regulatory standards. Associate’s degree in Business Administration or other related field preferred. Minimum of one (1) of the certifications below must be successfully obtained within three (3) years of hire: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) Certification Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) Excellent organizational skills; detail-oriented, self-starter with strong critical thinking and prioritization abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with various audiences Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn additional software as needed Commitment to integrity, kindness, empathy, confidentiality, and high-quality outcomes Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team What We Offer: A supportive team and inclusive work culture Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Medical, dental, and vision health insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution Generous PTO (Paid Time Off) accrual Discounted gym membership Opportunities for continued learning and professional development Join Us Help us deliver exceptional healthcare by ensuring our providers are credentialed and ready to serve. Shift: Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America) Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, day shift Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
