What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Administer physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction of the Physical Therapist
- Review patient's medical records and develop individual therapy plans in collaboration with the Physical Therapist
- Update and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences
- Document progress notes and maintain accurate daily billing charges and productivity logs
- Prepare patients and their families for discharge with appropriate instructions and home exercise programs
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Florida
- Hands-on Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all patient information
- Compliance with policies and procedures specific to patient rights and safety
- Excellent service orientation towards patients, visitors, and co-workers
