Now Hiring: Passionate Behavior Technician or RBT – $32–$37/hour | Urgent Case 1:1 behavior respite in Discovery Bay, CA Company: ABA SHINE Position: Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Location: home-based, Bay Discovery Bay Compensation: $32–$37 per hour Shifts: part-time Shift needed 2:00 PM -6 PM based on the client's needs every Monday Wednesday and Friday, and needs help on the weekends if possible. About the Case: We are urgently seeking experienced and reliable Behavior Technicians or RBTs to provide 1:1 support for a sweet young adult male. The position involves helping with hygiene and showers. The client is very sweet and has behavioral concerns. Very easy redirect and managed. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 direct behavior support and supervision
- Implement behavior intervention strategies as directed by a BCBA
- Ensure client safety and de-escalate aggressive or unsafe behavior
- Accurately document session notes and incident reports
- Collaborate with facility staff and clinical team
Requirements:
- RBT certification or strong experience in behavior support/crisis intervention
- Ability to manage high-intensity behaviors professionally and safely
- Male candidates are preferred due to the client’s specific needs
- Must be reliable, patient, and physically capable of managing aggressive episodes
- Livescan, CPR, and TB clearance required (or willingness to obtain quickly)
