Senior Claims Adjuster - Complex Commercial

A leading national insurance provider is seeking a seasoned Senior Claims Adjuster specializing in Complex Commercial claims to join their remote team. Based remotely, this role will manage and resolve high-value and intricate commercial insurance claims across various industries. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, a deep understanding of commercial insurance policies, and a proven track record of successful claim resolution. Responsibilities: Investigate, evaluate, and settle complex commercial property and casualty claims in accordance with policy provisions and regulatory requirements. Conduct thorough site inspections and detailed loss assessments for commercial properties. Interview claimants, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather information. Analyze insurance policies, coverage, and endorsements to determine liability and damages. Negotiate settlements with policyholders, legal counsel, and other stakeholders. Manage a caseload of complex claims, ensuring timely and efficient resolution. Prepare detailed claim files, reports, and recommendations for claim closure or litigation. Collaborate with legal counsel, expert consultants, and other third parties as needed. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in claims handling. Mentor and provide guidance to junior adjusters on complex claim matters. Utilize claims management software and other technological tools effectively. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in handling complex commercial property and casualty claims. In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance policies, endorsements, and legal principles. Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. Relevant professional designations (e.g., AIC, CPCU) are highly preferred. State adjuster licenses as required. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within the US, with occasional travel as required for site inspections.
