Senior Manager, Healthcare Analytics
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Manager, Healthcare Analytics to lead our data-driven initiatives within the healthcare sector. - Lead the design and execution of comprehensive healthcare analytics projects that align with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and financial teams to identify data needs and develop tailored analytical models.
- Oversee the collection, validation, and interpretation of healthcare data from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Utilize financial software to analyze cost structures, revenue cycles, and budget performance, providing insights for financial planning.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate complex findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Manage a team of analysts by providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to foster professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards related to healthcare data privacy and security.
- Drive continuous improvement in analytics processes by adopting emerging technologies and best practices in healthcare data management.
Experience
- Extensive experience in healthcare analytics or related fields with a focus on leveraging data to improve clinical or operational outcomes.
- Proven leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency with financial software tools used in healthcare settings for budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into strategic insights for executive decision-making.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry regulations concerning data privacy and security standards such as HIPAA.
- Excellent communication skills with the capacity to present technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Healthcare Economics, Business, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. EXPERIENCE: · A minimum of 7 years of professional healthcare analytic experience required with exposure to clinical, operational and financial data. · A minimum of 3 years of people management or team leadership experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in data mining, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools. · Strong understanding of healthcare delivery and reimbursement models including: o Value-Based Care (shared savings, capitation) o Fee-for-service vs Risk-based arrangements o Quality measurement · Experience integrating clinical data (EMR) with payor data. · Experience using healthcare eligibility, quality, and claims data sets and how those data sets join. · Experience reviewing and interpreting contract language and connecting contract language to healthcare data sets. · Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, SAS, R) and database management systems. · Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. · Understanding business processes and how data can be used to drive decision-making and improve performance. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
