About the position The Corporate Communications & Citizenship team is responsible for planning and implementing communications strategies and programs to protect and advance Blue Shield of California’s reputation with internal and external audiences. Works closely with various stakeholders, including senior executives, to help Blue Shield of California achieve its mission to provide access to quality care that's sustainably affordable for everyone. The Executive Assistant, Experienced will report to the Vice President, Communications and Corporate Citizenship. An Executive Assistant supporting Communications and Corporate Citizenship plays a critical role in enabling the effectiveness and impact of the function. The role serves as a trusted partner to senior leadership, managing complex calendars, and ensuring seamless execution of internal and external priorities. This position supports high‑visibility requiring strong judgment, discretion, and attention to detail. The Executive Assistant helps ensure leaders are well‑prepared, aligned, and able to focus on advancing the company’s mission, reputation, and community impact.
