Job Summary
As an Experienced Bilingual Claims Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our customers, answering internal and external phone and email inquiries, and explaining the various levels of contract coverage and claims processes. Key Responsibilities
* Analyze information in Vehicle Service Contract and claims system to advise customers of the appropriate benefit amounts.
- Request and distribute internal information to aid Claims Adjudication Department.
- Answer phone and email inquiries and provide information and explanations on the various levels of contract coverage, and claims processes.
- Manage work-flow, process and complete all requests and documents according to established procedures.
- Be a team member, work effectively in a friendly team environment.
- Being interactive and communicative with management and co-workers in a visible manner is an essential function of the job; therefore, camera usage is required for training, team meetings, and meetings with management.
- Other Job Duties, as assigned.
Key to Success
* Minimum High School graduate or GED is Required.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills with ability to problem solve and multi task must be detail oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry skills.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to communicate effectively with contract holders, agents, dealers, internal staff/upper management and customers, call center experience preferred.
- Proficient working on a PC, working knowledge of MS Office, able to learn new programs quickly, type at least 35 wpm, and document information while discussing the claim over the phone.
- Automotive Service Dept. experience preferred. Warranty Administrators, BDC Representatives, Automotive Cashier/Receptionist, Service Writers are also encouraged to apply.
Essential Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in a claims or customer service role.
- Experience working with Vehicle Service Contracts and claims systems.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry and its terminology.
- Experience working in a team environment and contributing to a positive team culture.
