Job Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Customs Trade Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customs clearance documentation, including data entry, Sop's, duty books, web, and customs documentation.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of shipment documentation, ensuring compliance with all record-keeping requirements.
- Collaborate with internal staff, divisions, other arenaflex activities, and clients to deliver a high level of service and meet customer expectations.
- Process organization financier shipments and may handle distant filings.
- Ensure adherence to all international importing and exporting regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, international trade, business administration).
- No industry experience required, but a minimum of 6 months of work experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry and computer skills, including MS Office, Viewpoint, and other relevant software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle high volumes of work.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to collaborate with clients, transporters, intermediaries, government agencies, and internal staff.
- Proficiency in multiple software systems and reference materials.
- Ability to handle time-sensitive work and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
* HS Certificate or GED.
- Industry experience in logistics, international trade, or a related field.
- Experience with customs clearance and trade compliance.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and laws (e.g., US Customs, PGA's).
