Job Description:

As an IT Operations Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Defining, capturing, and approving IT requirements and artifacts to ensure accurate communication with stakeholders
  • Creating key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to measure the effectiveness of IT operations
  • Reporting and managing risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies that impact IT service delivery
  • Creating and implementing policies, procedures, and standards for new technology implementations to ensure minimal disruption to existing services
  • Managing the incident and problem management process, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues and identify root causes
  • Analyzing IT client requirements and needs to design and implement effective IT solutions
  • Participating in regular reviews to assess the effectiveness of IT services, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies for enhancement
  • Ensuring that incidents that are not resolved promptly are properly escalated through defined service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Driving key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve IT service delivery, including metrics and services to our customers and partners
  • Identifying and reporting incident and issue patterns and trends
  • Ensuring clear and timely communication with stakeholders regarding high-priority issues
  • Collaborating with the incident owner to ensure that incident escalation processes are in line with overall incident management processes
  • Managing and tracking provider performance, using approved contractual terms for accountability
  • Creating and delivering presentations as needed
  • Initiating and scheduling incident reviews to ensure that SLAs are met and root causes are identified
  • Ensuring that clients and leadership are informed about the status of incidents at regular intervals
  • Ensuring the closure of all resolved and end-client-confirmed incident records
  • Establishing continuous process improvement, exercises, roles, and responsibilities, and strategies are audited and improved as necessary
  • Collaborating with issue management to ensure effective transfer of incidents into issue investigations
  • Ensuring root cause analysis (RCA) is completed and scheduling RCA reviews with the teams worked on the incident
  • Recording all details and timelines of key components during incident management span calls
  • Continuously seeking opportunities for service improvement
  • Creating, maintaining, and reporting on SLA and KPIs
  • Identifying and reporting incident patterns and trends
  • Ensuring the team and other partners in the call understand the business impact
  • Collaborating with relevant business and IT partners to determine root cause and issue ID, and as necessary, improvement identification for future development work
  • Supporting web-based business releases for both pre-and post-release activities

  • Strong understanding of corporate IT policies, procedures, and standards

Nice to Have:

* Knowledge of ServiceNow

  • Experience with analytical analysis and reporting
  • Knowledge of various Costco business areas from an IT perspective
  • Familiarity with the Service Desk or Call Center business processes
  • ITIL V3 Foundation certification
  • Related knowledge with IT Service Management software

Eligibility:

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous sales or customer experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and friendly approachable behavior
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Basic math skills and the ability to manage financial transactions
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Flexible working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Knowledge of the products/services offered by the company is a plus
