Job Summary
As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you will assist in using data to create, present, and suggest innovative ideas and projects, as well as perform basic analysis to alleviate the risk of resistance through process improvements. These improvements will support arenaflex's objectives, including maintaining low costs, modernizing operations, and improving compliance, thereby giving us a competitive edge.
Responsibilities and Expectations
The responsibilities and expectations of the Quality Control Standards Data Analyst may include, but are not limited to:
- Perform and assist others in the Quality Control group in optimal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components.
- Help with creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
- Assist with exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide logical answers to enable Senior Leadership to make business decisions while adjusting existing project responsibilities.
- Present findings, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding.
- Help with creating and disseminating specific questions to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
- Identify irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and convey findings to the team.
- Assess the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors
- Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision
- May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Data Science, Statistics, or Business Analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of data with care and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey ideas and present findings in writing, verbally, or through presentations to diverse audiences.
- Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or QuickBase.
- Ability to understand the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning.
- Willingness to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications.
- Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help-oriented climate.
- Ability to focus on responsibilities seriously and be a self-motivated individual.
- Past internship experience in a related field is preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data appropriately.
- Ability to plan and support large business initiatives.
