Job Summary

We're seeking a Junior Geographic Information Systems Analyst to join our team and contribute to the success of arenaflex. As a key member of our Geographic Data group, you'll be responsible for creating geographic data for assigned areas, designing PC-generated maps and reports, and providing administrative support to local Deal Makers. If you're a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for data analysis, then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

* Create PC-generated maps, reports, tables, and charts for assigned areas using MapInfo, as requested by local Deal Makers

  • Process requests and inquiries directly from arenaflex Activities for market strategy guides and presentation materials
  • Perform a variety of project-specific tasks, including data analysis and interpretation, as assigned
  • Provide administrative support to local Deal Makers by preparing accurate and timely cost reports, editing documents, booking travel, preparing visit books, and meeting other administrative needs as requested
  • Perform general office duties, including answering incoming calls, receiving office visitors, mail handling and organization, ensuring all office equipment is in good working order, ensuring computers are functioning properly, recording, booking deliveries, and requesting office supplies

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field

  • General knowledge of geographic information systems
  • Knowledge of data analysis and insights presentation
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Proficiency in MapInfo

  • Experience working with geographic data systems
