The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients in workers' compensation cases, providing legal advice, and developing defense strategies against claims made by employees. This role requires a deep understanding of workers' compensation law and the ability to navigate complex litigation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in workers' compensation cases and hearings
- Develop and implement defense strategies against claims
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Provide legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters and other stakeholders
- Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations
Qualifications
- Jurisdictional license to practice law
- Proven experience in workers' compensation defense
- Strong litigation skills and experience
- Excellent research and writing abilities
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly
- Strong negotiation skills
- Familiarity with claims management processes
