Role Description As the supervisor of the Business Process Analysis team, you will lead a dynamic team of Business Process Analysts dedicated to transforming and optimizing business processes across the State. Your leadership will be pivotal in guiding the team through comprehensive evaluations and redesigns of workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for our State partners.
- Oversee the execution of root cause analyses.
- Ensure that current-state processes are meticulously documented.
- Strategically map future-state workflows.
- Identify critical business rules.
- Develop user stories and prioritization models that align with organizational goals.
- Lead and mentor your team in translating complex operational challenges into clear analytical insights and actionable recommendations.
- Drive improvements and define capability needs and solution requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, Information Technology or a related field OR Certification as a Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) AND four (4) years or more of experience in the field of information technology where the primary role was business analyst AND at one (1) or more years in a supervisory role.
- OR Five (5) years or more of experience in the field of information technology where the primary role was business analyst AND (2) years or more of experience in a supervisory role.
Requirements
- Duties are performed in a standard office setting and/or from a remote office location within the State of Vermont.
- Considerable interaction with the Information Technology Section, users, and other department staff is involved.
- Some travel may be required for which private means of transportation should be available.
- Work outside of regular business hours may be expected.
