Job Responsibilities At Trafilea, you won’t just manage infrastructure—you’ll architect and scale the systems behind a $1B+ global e-commerce platform, processing billions of data points and powering high-growth consumer brands. We’re looking for a DevOps (Cloud Engineer) Lead to own our cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and DevOps/DataOps strategy end-to-end.
- Architect and scale AWS infrastructure (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Lambda, ECS)
- Lead Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Terragrunt
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for high-velocity deployments
- Design and evolve ETL pipelines and data platform architecture
- Drive containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Establish observability: monitoring, logging, alerting
- Ensure security, compliance, and cost-efficient cloud operations
- Lead incident management and improve system reliability
- Define DevOps/DataOps standards across teams
- Mentor engineers and elevate technical excellence
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering, with at least 2+ years in a Lead or Senior role
- Proven track record designing and scaling AWS infrastructure in high-traffic, production environments
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt) in complex, multi-environment setups
- Deep experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable deployments
- Hands-on experience with data architecture and ETL pipelines at scale
- Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and reliability engineering principles
- Experience leading architecture decisions, incident management, and system reliability improvements
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and raise the bar of DevOps/DataOps practices across teams
Nice to have:
- Experience with modern data stack (dbt, Airflow, Snowflake)
- Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies
- Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or AI-assisted development tools
