Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative in our remote support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our non-profit customer's scholarship program. You will be responsible for responding to incoming calls from families and schools, addressing their inquiries, and providing timely support to ensure that students are registered and their questions are answered. Key Responsibilities
* Respond to incoming calls from families and schools participating in the scholarship program
- Address inquiries related to student registration, scholarship application, and funding status
- Provide empathetic, personable, and compassionate support to callers, even in challenging situations
- Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently and effectively
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of calls and interactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless support and resolution of complex issues
- Stay up-to-date with program changes, updates, and new initiatives
Essential Qualifications
* At least one year of customer service or call center experience
- English proficiency (a language assessment will be required)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to remain empathetic, personable, and compassionate during difficult situations
- Self-motivation, detail-orientation, and ability to multitask
- Accurate typing and keyboard skills; comfort with PC/internet navigation
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a non-profit or education-related field
- Familiarity with scholarship programs or student registration processes
- Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
- Bilingual or multilingual skills (English and another language)

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Strong typing and keyboard skills (at least 40 wpm)
