Experienced Data Entry Technician – Customs Brokerage Team (Remote)

As a Data Entry Technician on our Customs Brokerage team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of customs documentation, while providing top-notch customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, maintaining the highest standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Understanding and identifying customs documentation, including customs declarations and other relevant documents.
• Transposing customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system, ensuring the build of a valid customs declaration.
• Verifying documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Providing exceptional customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally.
• Ensuring compliance at all times to regulations, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Daily execution of workflow and department metrics, contributing to the success of our Customs Brokerage team.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with a high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• A growth mindset, eager to learn and develop your skills in the field of supply chain and logistics.
• A desire for a career in supply chain and logistics, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
