Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team at arenaflex. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in driving financial reporting and analysis, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, and providing strategic insights to inform business decisions. This is a full-time remote position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for assigned areas of the general ledger
- Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for arenaflex and external entities for assigned functional areas
- Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
- Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly reviews
- Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters
- Perform special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

- Sharp business acumen and process-oriented
- Data-driven and unafraid to dig down to the lowest level of detail for truth and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including strong proficiency in English
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls
- Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification an asset
- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manage and process large amounts of data
