Job Summary
As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and driving results in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance, while also ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded. Key Responsibilities and Job Elements
* Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure seamless execution of business objectives
- Collaborate with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans and strategies to meet business objectives
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach to perform tasks and duties
- Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts to ensure effective communication and team management
- Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud, and adapt to variable temperatures and weather conditions
- Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs) to ensure effective team management and communication
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, operations, or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in operations, customer service, or related field; experience in team leadership or management a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive results and improve business performance
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks and duties
Preferred Qualifications
* 2-5 years of experience in operations, customer service, or related field; experience in team leadership or management a plus
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or related field
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
