Job Summary As a Customer Service Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in providing administrative support and exceptional customer service to our customers. You'll be responsible for answering telephone calls, greeting customers in a retail environment, and assisting the regional office team with administrative tasks. This is a part-time, remote opportunity that requires a high level of customer service skills, technical proficiency, and attention to detail. Responsibilities As a Customer Service Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include: * Providing administrative support, including handling incoming faxes, reporting, maintaining database, member correspondences, maintaining inventory supplies and marketing material, and orderly upkeep of retail store, supply closet, and hospitality area. * Assisting customers with basic inquiries and needs, such as processing payments, taking messages, and directing calls. * Logging service inquiries and documenting information relevant to the contact. * Scheduling sales and service appointments for retail team members. * Conducting initial research of service inquiries and forwarding for appropriate handling. * Making deliveries to postal services. * Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. * Performing other duties as assigned. Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills: * Education: High school diploma or equivalent. * Experience: Minimum one (1) year customer service experience dealing with customers via telephone and in-person. * Essential Skills & Abilities: + Proficient in general computer operations with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. + Ability to multi-task. + Excellent customer service skills. * Skills: + Customer Interactions + Customer Service + Detail-Oriented + Highly Organized + Logical Thinking + Oral Communication + Personal Computer (PC) Software + Professional Judgment + Punctuality + Self-Starter + Typing Skills + Written Communication Certifications and Security Requirements This position is identified as level three (3) and requires the security and confidentiality of records and information to prevent substantial harm, embarrassment, inconvenience, or unfairness to any individual on whom information is maintained.
