Job Summary
As an Experienced Full Stack Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and experience in our retail pharmacy environment. You will assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, perform various pharmacy tasks, and provide a unique and delightful customer experience. Key Responsibilities
* Assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, including the use of pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information and process prescriptions
- Perform various pharmacy tasks, such as filling prescriptions, verifying medication accuracy, and checking for potential interactions
- Provide a unique and delightful customer experience by engaging with customers, resolving issues, and offering assistance with services and products
- Develop strong relationships with valuable customers and model excellent customer service practices
- Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Personnel Pharmacist, and Store Supervisor, including utilizing pharmacy systems, entering patient and drug records, and verifying medication accuracy
- Assist with stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription drugs
- May assist pharmacists in administering medical services, such as collecting and labeling blood/urine samples from patients and other medical services as required
- Assist Pharmacy Supervisor and Personnel Pharmacist in developing and maintaining relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers
Essential Qualifications
* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
- Prefer previous work experience with arenaflex
- Prefer desirable math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
- Prefer excellent computer skills
- Prefer knowledge of store inventory management
- Prefer % certification
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare environment
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy systems and software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
