Job Summary
We're seeking experienced Tier 1 Remote Customer Support Specialists to join our team of Mods. As a Mod, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer support to clients across the globe, utilizing your expertise in phones, chats, and e-books. If you're a tech-savvy individual with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
As a Tier 1 Remote Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer support to clients across the globe via phone, chat, and e-books
- Utilizing your expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving issues for web and mobile apps
- Multitasking in multiple browsers and browser tabs while handling customer communications
- Demonstrating a strong ability to walk customers through the process of navigating a mobile app/website and downloading/installing an application
- Providing professional demeanor and showing empathy to customers
- Working with a variety of devices and applications, including Mac, PC, iOS, Chromebook, Kindle Fire, and Android
- Collaborating with our team to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
- Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 1+ year of experience in customer support, preferably in a Tier 1 environment
- Experience with Zendesk and other ticketing systems
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Mac, PC, iOS, Chromebook, Kindle Fire, and Android devices and applications
- Reliable internet speed and service
- Dedicated laptop or desktop computer with Windows 10 or above
- Quality headset
- Quiet workspace to take calls
- Willingness to install MSQ security software and 2FA app on the phone
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with e-books and other digital content
- Knowledge of social media platforms and online communities
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Certification in customer support or a related field
- Fluency in multiple languages
