Job Summary
As a Network Protection Examiner Understudy, you'll work with business clients to conduct needs analysis related to systems and business processes, ensuring that solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business strategies, and departmental standards. You'll also manage timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation to guarantee that solutions are delivered on time and within budget. Your role will involve collaborating with business and innovation teams, participating in system and acceptance testing, and extending your expertise to support effective communication and knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with business clients to conduct needs analysis related to systems and business processes to create quality technical solutions.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business strategies, and departmental standards.
- Manage timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation to guarantee that solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Act as a resource to ensure effective communication among business and innovation teams.
- Participate in system and acceptance testing.
- Scope of work may vary depending on the team project.
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Fundamental knowledge of data security and risk relief standards, theories, and strategies.
- Experience or exposure to Proofpoint PhishAlarm is preferred.
- Experience or knowledge of ServiceNow Administration, Risk and Compliance (GRC) is preferred.
- Essential knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement is preferred.
- Major understanding of project management systems, including the ability to design, manage, and maintain a complex, organization-wide program is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders is preferred.
- Fundamental knowledge of technical environment is required.
- Openness to Agile philosophies is preferred.
- Coursework or experience related to Network Security is preferred.
- Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines is required.
- Past investigator entry-level position experience within the past year is preferred.
- Experience resolving business issues in a capstone or case competition is preferred.
- Functions well in a culture that is open, direct, conscious, gracious, and empathetic.
- Fast learner, self-motivated, team-oriented, with a sense of humor.
