The Role
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Media business by developing and maintaining data pipelines, data sets, and data visualization tools. You'll work closely with our Choice Science, Client, and Innovation teams to design and implement data solutions that drive business value and inform strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain data pipelines, data sets, and data visualization tools using a range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, and GitLab
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that meet business needs
- Work with large datasets and cloud-based technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to ensure data integrity and quality
- Provide data engineering support and guidance to other teams and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Strong skills in Python and SQL, with experience working with Snowflake and PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS and Docker
- Strong understanding of data set design and data visualization principles
- Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with huge datasets and large data technologies, ideally cloud-based
- Proficiency in cloud design and product contributions, ideally AWS
- Experience overseeing and delivering code using a source control item like GitLab/GitHub
- Experience using Docker and containerization
