Job Summary

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our clients' data. You'll be responsible for processing trade deal purchases, reconciling transactions, and resolving complex issues that arise between TD Ameritrade and our external partners. This is a remote opportunity that offers the flexibility and autonomy to work from anywhere, while still being part of a dynamic and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks recognized between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents

  • Process Corporate Activity Activities, settle/reconcile transactions, and process/reconcile returns activity
  • Analyze complex/escalated issues and perform testing/validation of new innovation enhancements and provider modifications
  • Complete projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
  • Engage with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
  • Collaborate with external partners, including fund companies, transfer agents, and other business partners

Duties and Responsibilities

* Review subscription deals or transfer requests

  • Identify and address Client/Advisor amount exceptions
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
  • Reconcile Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
  • Resolve issues across BOS and Fund Companies
  • Review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of income tax coding
  • Troubleshoot internal/external system improvements or concerns
  • Identify root cause of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
  • Provide method or innovation service alternatives to Management
  • Remediate transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm
  • Answer business partner inquiries concerning Fund details requirements/eligibility
  • Provide follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
  • Promptly and accurately finalize client investing and dividend demands

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 0-2 years of experience in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce and other CRM systems a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in the financial industry, particularly in data entry and reconciliation

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as 2340 and 15C3-3
  • Familiarity with TD Ameritrade systems and processes
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel and Tableau
  • Certification in data entry or a related field a plus
