Key Responsibilities

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing customer policy change requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Completing Evidence of Insurance requests and ensuring accurate documentation
  • Taking premium payments from customers and maintaining accurate records
  • Treating each customer contact as a cross-sell and up-sell opportunity, including financial products
  • Returning all phone messages promptly and providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Sharing training and education knowledge and expertise with team members
  • Thoroughly understanding and following all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements
  • Maintaining knowledge of new products and services, including insurance quotes and financial products
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships through regular follow-ups and communication
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
  • Handling customer renewals and ensuring seamless transitions
  • Providing outstanding relationship-building skills and a positive attitude

Essential Qualifications

* A Property & Casualty insurance license is required

  • Proficiency in Farmers Insurance quoting systems is preferred
  • A genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, and resourceful, with a coachable attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multi-task and follow through on tasks
  • Professional phone etiquette and a confident, self-starter approach to work
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle stressful and difficult situations
  • Ability to work well with other employees and be a team player with a positive attitude
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to take initiative and think outside the box

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on customer service and sales

  • Proficiency in CRM software and other technology platforms
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to resolving customer issues
  • Ability to handle customer rejection and maintain a positive attitude
  • Experience in a remote work environment, with a strong understanding of virtual communication and collaboration tools

Compensation and Benefits
