What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Manage weather-related property claims from start to finish, ensuring high service levels
- Clearly communicate coverage decisions and expectations to customers
- Evaluate damages and determine policy coverage using various tools and resources
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify fraud or recovery opportunities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry practices, market pricing, and legal developments
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred
- State licensing where required and completion of applicable claims certification training
- 1-3 years of related claims handling or construction experience preferred
- General knowledge of insurance theory, practices, and contracts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective customer interaction
