Program Overview

Our Remote Customer Support Specialist program is a 14-week initiative that runs from January 13th, 2025, to April 15th, 2025. As a participant, you'll have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and develop your skills in customer support, communication, and problem-solving. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and are committed to making a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer support via phone, email, and chat
  • Resolving complex issues and escalating them to senior team members when necessary
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our products and services
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve customer queries and improve overall customer experience
  • Participating in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Meeting service level and contact per hour commitments
  • Working in a fast-paced environment and handling change well

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts (preferably)
  • Experience providing support in a call center environment (preferably)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and promote a positive work environment
  • Ability to handle change well and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to diffuse situations with angry customers
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet productivity goals
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working with software troubleshooting and technical support
  • Knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts
  • Experience providing support in a call center environment
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to customers
  • Ability to work in a training environment that includes watching self-paced training module videos
  • Ability to step-in as needed and answer questions from customers via chat

Important Notes

* This program is a 14-week initiative that runs from January 13th, 2025, to April 15th, 2025.

  • Preference will be given to Service Providers (SPs) who can commit and work all 14 weeks of the program.
  • Service Providers (SPs) must meet the required minimum of 30 hours per week.
  • Schedule yourself and work a minimum of 8 hours each day on April 13th, 14th, and 15th.
  • These times may be revised periodically based on business needs.
  • Must reside in the USA.
  • Must have passed background check and pass tech check in order to attend certification.
  • Must be on camera during certification.
  • Cannot hold Gigs with Column Tax or any Intuit Vendors.
